Verdi is an 100% Australian made range offering funky, practical, quality, must have items for Mums.
100% Cotton machine washable Slings ($60) help you carry a newborn to a toddler with various carry styles, whilst saving your back. The simple design allows babies weight to be evenly distributed across your shoulder & back, they are safe & comfortable for both Baby & Mum. The Verdi slings are also great for bonding with your newborn. Mothers have been wearing babies in many cultures for centuries and research shows that close mother/baby bonding is essential for babies development.
The Cotton fabric with no extra padding makes the slings breathable for your baby, cool to wear, easy to wash, quick to dry & the bold prints hide the stains. They are light & portable so you can have it with you everywhere, it easily folds up to keep in your bag. There is no buckles or adjusters which makes it quick & easy to use.
The Slings come in 3 sizes - Dads can wear slings too. I can help you with your size when you order, just measure from your shoulder to your hip. Also available is a Kids size sling - a great way to involve your toddler in the life of a new baby to carry teddy or dolly ($20).

For getting out & about an absolute essential is the Change mat roll ($30) with pocket at one end to keep essentials like wipes, nappies & dummy together then simply roll it up & throw it in any bag or under the pram keep it stocked so its ready when you need to go out for a quick trip. The Pram bag ($50) with strap that fits over the pram handles is stylish, light & compact with 2 large pockets inside just the right size for nappies, wipes & a bottle.
Reversible Pram liners ($60) not only individualise your pram but make cleaning up easier as they are machine washable. The 100% Cotton side is more comfortable than the nylon in the pram and the polar fleece side is cosy for the cooler months.

Sleeping baby wrapped on their back is known to reduce the risk of SIDS. Big enough (1.2m x 1.5m) to fully cover the pram when your out & can still wrap a toddler. Bandana Bibs ($12) are a new, but I found necessary, addition to the range as they helps keep your little dribbler dry during those teething times and is much more stylish than an ordinary bib. Cool cotton prints with 100% cotton towelling backing - saves changing tops all the time & helps stop a chill from a damp chest. Can also be worn as a fashion accessory when not dribbling.
After working for over 15 years in the fashion industry, I started making my own baby clothing & accessories with the birth of my son as I could not find items that were both unique, practical & well made without that mass produced look. I got so many comments that I started making pieces for friends & then their friends. My Chiropractor has even recommended the slings to a few of his patients. Verdi was born!
